Hardware Issue on Union Forces

I got my Union Forces today and am really yoked. They are super nice and so far im happy. The only problem is when i went to mount them on my jib stick the screws werent long enough. THey didnt reach to the rivets in the board from the discs. I used the old screws from my freestyles and it fit fine. But i dont understand why the screws didnt fit. The board isnt any differemt from any other. Is this a union mistake or am i doing something wrong. I took off the gas pedal and put the disc in its slot. I put the screw in the line like this (_X________X__) where the x's are the screws and i tried to draw the disc mounts. Just curious.

Capita customer service says the Forces should come with 16mm screws (which should be long enough), but they sometimes come with shorter screws. Even with the shorter screws, you should be able to thread them into the insert holes if you apply some downward pressure to compress the discs. If you're not comfortable with the screws, you can always call/email Capita and they'll send you a set of longer screws without much hassle.

I have the same problem with my Force's. I just contacted Union to see if they would send longer screws.

Hm... I had no problems with my Forces... you have any other screws from old bindings you can use while Union send you new ones? They are all the same it's not like you need a specific brand...

Had no issues with mine either...

Can you push hard and get one started and then start the rest or not so much?

Union just returned my email and said new screws are on their way to my house. That was easy.

Yeah I have the screws from my freestyles on there right now. I was woried that was bad for the bindings. I wont be boarding till like november anyway but are the screws from union free? If they are I may as well get them because a buddy wants my old bindings and I cant really sell them with the screws missing. Oh and id rather not have to push real hard on the discs to get the screw in because then it will just be on like one thread. Trust me they are waaay to short. I did try to push it and no go. So if the screws are free Ill hit them up and get some new ones. Thanks

I had that problem when I first tried to mount my Forces. All it takes is a bit of downward pressure to get them started.
