Union Sierra Contact SL's M/L
Just found a deal on these (am in new zealand) to match up with my k2 parkstar, wanted a light binding that was more freestyle oriented but still could handle the whole mountain. Didn't read the fine print though and realised they only had the M/L size which fits upt to a us sz10. I am a size 10-10.5 depending on the boot. Can anyone comment if i am going to have any major problems with the fit. Currently have a pair of 09 Salomon Malamutes in Us 10.5. But looking to replace with the Ride FUL's but am yet to try any on so can't comment on sizing. One of the pitfall's of buying online i guess.

My Parkstar is a 155 non wide if it makes a difference.

Can't comment specifically on sizing, it can be boot specific, but many have had problems with sizing on these as they tend to run small. On a related note, I had a chance to see these in person and they quality, feel and ratchets just seemed garbage to me. If your looking lightweight all-mountain check out the Burton Cartels. Check out Rome targas and 390s too, however they're a little on the heavy side. The unions just felt like cheap toys next to Cartels, and weight seemed to be very close.

you prob will have problems with fit.

I have those bindings in the L/XL and i wear 10.5 burton freestyle boots from 2007 and they fit well in the bindings. it is usually good advice to go with the larger size when on the border of binding sizes. since you don't have the larger size to choose from i say you should look for another binding.

i have the bindings and they are nothing special, but they do their job. look for other bindings, Flux, Rome 390s, or union Forces, there are plenty of alternatives.

Rang up and canceled before they charged my card. Walked into a friends store and got a good deal on some Ride Nitrane Contrabands. He also managed to convince me to drop money on a new analog jacket, analog pants and analog gloves. Am poor. But stoked. Ha ha.

Haha, nice purchases. It's crazy how easy it is go into a shop looking for one item and then walk away with a whole new setup.

QFT!! Last year I walked into my local shop for some new gloves and walked out with the gloves, a new pair of goggles and a brand new board. Damn the Jedi Mind Control that those shop employees use :p

For sure... Has pretty much convinced me i need a new pair of Ride FUL's to complete the setup but we shall see. Good thing about being down this end of the world is that we get all the new season stuff pretty quick.

Rode the parkstar with the Nitranes last night at snowplanet (indoor slope) and was blown away, didnt have them set up quite right, due to constraints on time but man they are light, and the flex on the highback feels pretty much perfect. Very forgiving on harsh landings too, of which i experienced several, haha. Compliments the parkstar perfectly. Great board, heaps of fun.
