Hey guys
Im reasonably new to snowoboarding, have been for a week each year for the past two years. And i was looking for some tips in how to set up my bindings for the snow? When have been in the past i set them up at 12 neg 7, however as i understand this is not normal? I started with this set up due to a knee injury on my first trip, and these setting seemed to take some pressure off it while i was riding. During this trip i was also forced to ride goofy (again due to my knee) however i surf natural and have done for many years (i know its a different sport but anyways). What do you guys think? how should i set up the next trip to the snow? |

If this setup takes pressure off your knees, then why change it? Binding setup varies from one person to another and really depends on what feels comfortable for the person as there's no right or wrong.
If you really want, try experimenting with different angles using small increments and seeing if you like the feel. You may find something that you like better than your current set up. Oh, and I ride mine +15, -15. |
