let me start by saying im not the biggest burton fan, but i cant steer away from their bindings. i rocked the 06 cartels and am now rocking the 08( i think?) burton custom detox and i love them. they are reponsive, light, and the toecap strap is amazing...not to mention they look super rad. they cover just about everything i want/need in a binding. with that being said, i want to upgrade my bindings this year because i know theres better ones out there with all the new technology .
my friends rant and rave about union and rome bindings but i have no personal experience. im looking for a super light weight, durable, responsive binding that will withstand 45+ days of park riding without breaking what do you guys think? (please dont post anything about flow bindings!) |

I have some force sl from union and they are awesome. What u are looking for in a binding is what union delivers. Also I havnt ridden any Rome bindings but I to hear good things. I no union prides them self on having bomb proof bindings. Either way you will be happy I do suggest Union tho. Good luck

Well rome doesn't make a "light" bindng like union does. But if you just mean you don't want them to be heavy then I would look at either 390's or forces. If you do want something that qualifies as industry light, I would check out the contact pro's.
