Ok, so I've been reading through the forums and I still cannot seem to pinpoint a decision. I do all mountain free riding almost exclusively (little to no park). I especially enjoy riding in the woods so would like a responsive binding that will help me turn easily. I've been looking at the following but there are just too many choices. Let me know what you think. Will be riding mostly east coast (Snowshoe, WV a lot) and two or three trips out west to hit up some powder. BTW, I will be riding a 2010 K2 Slayblade this year. Thanks for the help.

Would be really interested in this one too. I'm in the same position and have close riding preferences, would add fast runs down the groomers on icy days. My board is an Arbor Roundhouse.
Two bindings I've been eyeballing on top of your list are:
A local dealer recommended the
I'm torn with the K2 Cinch, which is my current binding (2004 model). On that model the highback release is really doggy and I frequently ended up swearing at it for ~10 minutes because I couldn't close it. Quiet frequently the cable popped out of the cable route and try to get that back with thick gloves on, but K2 seem to have fixed that nicely on the current model. Still I highly doubt I would ever by the Cinch again. |
