OK ive been looking for bindings for a while now and i need some info on the rome united bindings. ive got the 09/10 artifact and i ride mostly park. And ive been looking at the contraband for a while and i found a pair of nitrane contraband for $150 but its of ebay and its last years models and im wondering if it would be worth buying since the strap breaks on these and since its ebay i cant get the new strap if it breaks

I heard mixed reviews on that toe strap that Ride had last year. I don't ride park enough to even consider buying the contras, but I have used Rome bindings for just about as long as the company has been around. The customer service is great at Rome in terms of getting new parts shipped to you. Outside of warranty they will still help you out with new parts if you talk to the guy on the phone correctly. That is one of many things I like about Rome - you call and you talk to a person, who is also a rider.
