Board...Check! Boots...Check! Bindings...??? - Snowboarding Forum

Hey everyone, I just got my 2010/11 NS Legacy 163 in white! Can't wait to take it out, but still not sure what bindings to pair it with.

First the background info, I'm 6ft 220lbs, somewhere in between Newbish and Intermediate skill level. Love going down, park not so much. I want an all mountain setup that is still comfortable and forgiving... and has to fit my Burton Ruler size 11.
My first choice was the Burton Cartels, but I keep reading mixed reviews on them. I just want comfortable, durable and responsive bindings(Holy Grail). Any NeverSummer riders out there have a better fit?

I nabbed some Flux SF45s for my SL this year

I would say either the Flux SF45's or the TT30.

I picked up a Heritage and would love to put the 30's on it but I just can't justify buying them when I have perfectly fine Ride NRc and Union Force

Yeah the SF45's are winning the popular vote. Keep gettin told that I need stiff bindings for the type of boarding I wanna do(freeride). Is this true?

The Sf45s are the stiff binding to get. I was originally getting the targa but decided to order the flux for the stiffness. I should be getting them next week and will post a pic on my new NS heritage, should look sick.

Might as well buy a pair of Burton Custom bindings imo...

Def stick with the Flux. If you don't want Flux, check out Union

I think Flux is the best choice for me... but the sf45's seem so simple in black. Either way, I think I'm sold on them. Now I play the shopping game... thanks everyone
