what are the main differences between the optimo, nitrane and regular contraband. I found a pair of 09/10 nitrane contrabands and im wondering if its worth getting them instead of the 10/11 contrabands (regular)

2010 nitrane vs 2011 contraband

nitrane: different highback, custom flex ankle strap, webbed toe thong, better ratchets, extra 4.0 wedgiebeds

Maybe '11 Nitranes? Better thong, the new highback is radballs...

If not get the '11 Contrabands. The '10 Nitranes had problems with the thong breaking. Ride is offering color correct replacements of a better design for free though if you do go for them.

wait so even if i get them from some online store or ebay theyll send me a new strap

They might give you the runaround on them if they're still brand new and not yet broken... But if they do break they should give you replacements without a fuss

It's also stiffer and more mountain oriented from everything I've heard, which is why I settled on the regular contrabands over nitranes.
