So many bindings so many choices... so all of us younger less experienced boarders come to forums like these to ask OPINIONS on what is what.
but all i ever see is Union is better or whatever the 2 bindings that are up for debate. no descriptions on why there better. i think this is very important because is the discription and the properties of the bindings and how they react to certin conditions/riders that will allow us to shop accordingly. so please whoever has ridden any of these bindings that as so popular for this year. I challenge you to give a real honest description of the performance Good and Bad.. what you would change etc. |

I ride the Force and what I like about them is the comfort of the 3D molded strap, the simplicity of the binding, the quality (been riding the same pair for 5 seasons), and I like that they're a mid flex binding with enough edge-to-edge response to be aggressive on the bigger trails along with enough lateral flex that allows you to ride rails with ease.
The SF45 is a little stiffer but has adjustable strap positions that will allow you to customize them to the style of riding you're into. I have the Supertitan and I think flux has the best cap strap out there along with extremely comfortable ankle straps and the best ratchets on the market. I have no knowledge of the 390 but when I tried it last year I found the straps too soft and it was less responsive than my Force. But I don't know if it was set up to be more flexable or if that's how the binding is intended to feel |

When you ask your dad why you have to clean your room, after 10x, your dad will tell you just because. Same thing here...nobody wants to explain why every time someone asks, which happens almost daily. So hit the search button and find the countless posts/threads/reviews that already explain why.

In all honesty, I have never noticed enough of a difference between companies bindings geared towards certain riding styles to really matter. I can ride Forces, 390's, SF45's, Deltas, or Missions and be completely happy. I will be completely honest now. I tried Union cause of TJ Schieder. Met him, he was a rad guy, thought I'd give Union a go. I liked em, no less and no more than my Cartels (Cartels pre-stock forward lean annoyance). The next year I went with them again cause of the POW edition Datas. I was goin K2 this year, then the rep was a dick. Then Salomon but my rep failed me. So back to Union I go.
