Risers! - Snowboarding Forum

What is the general concensus on Risers? I am asking because I wear a size 11 boot and medium bindings (in the K2 Hurrithane, which is what I'm considering) run 8-11 and the large bindings are size 11+. I've heard risers help with control, and I'm thinking if I go with the mediums I will need them with my rather large feet. My board is a 157 spankin' new Parkstar and i ride probably 60/40 mountain park... if that helps.

why would binding size make a difference for risers

and risers suck

(and get the Large/8-11)

There's a reason why those risers came and went pretty quickly back in the early 2000's.
