Bindings for Lib TRS BTX

Hello people,

I got last years TRS BTX snowboard and I'm thinking to get new bindings for it, but I'm not quite sure if I should do it, or this is just shopping fever that hit me. I have Drake SuperSport from like 4-5 seasons ago and 8.5 size Burton Rulers from 3 seasons ago.
The issue with my current bindings is that there is apporximately 1 - 1.5cm distance btw my boot outer side and the side of the binding and the snow gets in there.
I'm mainly freeriding, jumping off every natural kicker that gets into my way, hitting the pow, night skiing-speed junkie bombing runs and never getting into the park (simply 'cos there are no parks around here).
Is there a big tech difference between the bindings now and my old ones and am I going to feel it?
Currently I'm looking at the Ride Double Agents, but would like to broaden my search with some suggestions coming from you.

Tank you in advance for the answer
