for a while the contraband toe strap was very prone to breaking....not sure if they fixed this issue or not. I don't own them but was considering buying them, but decided against it because of this.

Actually the toe strap on the Pros works way better than the old ones. They use a more flexible material in the middle. Its pretty rad actually. I liked them a lot.
