I'm picking up a Rome Graft and I wanted to get the 390 boss bindings but I've been reading canted footbeds are good for RC boards...what if my knees hurt after long days of riding and canted footbeds seem nice, i wont lose any power in pop or press by rocking canted footbeds with a positive camber board right?
well i'm actually starting to lean towards a pusher so if it's true theyre good for reverse camber boards then boom. pusher is more along the lines of what i'm looking for, all around big park feature slayer
Really? Because I've read canted footbeds are more for reg-camber.
No, he's right. Canted footbeds were originally made for rocker boards to give the rider more leverage in order to gain as much pop out of the board as they can. Well, at least that's how they always advertised them when they were coming out. They did this because rocker boards just don't have the snap of a positive cambered deck.
Obviously, another huge benefit of canted beds is the comfort, especially for those who cowboy their stances. I find them comfy and it didn't affect the positive cambered decks I demoed with them this year. Still provided the leverage on a regular camber too (not that I needed it lol).
I say just get them based on comfort alone. The pop thing is negligible these days considering all the tech that is going into rockered boards now. I mean, look at the Dh2. That board needs 0 help in the pop department.
