Went from '09 Rome Targa's to '10 Ride Rx... I feel uneasy!
So I am a big Rome fan; every season I have had either Rome bindings or a Rome board or both.

This year I sold my '09 Rome Agent 154 and bought a '10 K2 WWW 152. Just a few days ago I sold my '09 Rome Targa's and bought myself some '10 Ride Rx's. The reason for my switch is that I would like to start doing more Park/Freestyle riding but for some reason I feel uneasy of this switch and just wanted your guys support that I didn't downgrade my whole setup.

*I got the Ride Rx's for CHEAP & NEW, plus they have CANTED foot beds so that is why I jumped on them. If I could have found the new Rome 390's for the price of the Hx's I would have gotten those instead*

sounds like you should have kept stylin and profilin with the rome gear head to toe

have you ridden them?

Havent ridden the new bindings, im still waiting for them to get to me. I rode the WWW for the last half of the '10 season and I do like it... alot more fun than the Agent was.

I'm interested in any feedback on these bindings too.

I also have a question about the adjustability. I know the heel cup can be adjusted forward and backward by removing the pair of screws on both sides, but is there also adjustment for the highback by removing the single screw that's just to the left of the "RX" in the picture? What function does that adjustment (assuming it is one) serve?

I rode a pair of RX bindings all last season and they are solid bindings. The only reason I got new ones is because my new boots were big for them. The only problems I ran into were the rachets sticking and the toe strap slipping off my boot. To solve the ratchet sticking you need to push down on the lever rather that pulling it up and it releases every time.

I would probably say the RX is the closest thing to the Targa in the no-nonsense category. They may not be quite as responsive, or not as adjustable, but they are a quality gear choice and should do you well.

I have the Ride EX's and they are definitely not lacking in the quality department. The EX's are slightly stiffer, but the RX will be fine. Ride bindings are legits, plus their footbed is super comf

Im sure they will be fine. The www is a VERY fun board and very forgiving. I have 390's on mine and I love it, I would imagine the Rides will be just as nice.
