Default Ride CAD 2009/2010 vs Rome Targa 2010/2011

Hello people,

I have the following dillema: Ride CAD or Rome Targa?
Both are awesome bindings and the CADs are 50$ cheaper but both are within my budget. I'm considering also Ride Double Agent but probably tehy will eb too stiff (ranked 9 on the Ride's website).
I'm mostly freeriding and hard bombing the groomed slopes during night skiing sessions. There is just one park in the near 500km and I will go there like once or twice the entire season so I don't need a freestyle friendly bindings.

Thanks for the input and best regards,
Sasho

I actually have both sets on different boards. I have new Targas on my all mountain board (Never Summer SL) and the CADs on my pow board (Ride Slackcountry). I haven't actually ridden either, but upon inspection the CADs are sgnificantly stiffer in all aspects (highback, straps, frame, baseplate). If you're mostly freeriding, I'd definitely say check out the CADs. They are a little on the heavy side though.

i changed my binding to CAD 09-10. I'm so amazed with this bindings. They're metal, solid and stiff. Also you can tune them more(ankle strap, base length, custom balance bed, etc..).As i was told, they're stiffer then Double Agent, and they're as close to the hardboot bindings as you can get. They cost more then DA in the season BTW(330 vs 260 bucks). As you're alrady told, they're quite heavy, but it's not a problem as you don't get in park.

What board do you have? You got to have a nice one to put CAD's on.

if you say, CAD is cheaper then Targas, get the CAD.

eh, TRS is not really all that stiff of a board. As mentioned, the CADs are pretty much the stiffest out there. I have mine on a Never Summer Premier. You would probably get more than enough response from Targas or SPI's

if the CADs are really that stiff then probably going with the Targas is better idea. Thanks for the input

Yeah with the TRS I'd recommend the Targas or Ride SPi. The CADs would be too stiff for that board.

Consider the Ride SPi as a cheaper/lighter alternative to the CAD, and 1 # softer than the Double Agent.
