Hey guys, I'm new to snowboarding and am really lost on picking a pair of bindings. I'm looking for a cheap pair of bindings, hopefully under $100 if that is manageable, that won't break on me for a while. I've only snowboarded once before so I won't be doing any hardcore riding very soon. My boots are size 10.5. Also, if I'm forgetting any important information, just lemme know and I'll post it up.
Im kinda new too and from what my local shop told me is a good solid entry lvl bindin is the Ride EX and the Ride LX the EX runs 160 and the LX is 130 both at Northwest snowboards in Olympia Washington
I would pick the EX over the LX. The EX is a solid binding that doesn't seem to have many mechanical problems (I haven't had any or heard of any). The LX is a low budget solution and judging from the reviews it shows. I would shell out the extra cash for the EX, they won't let you down.
Pick a "brand name " over the cheapo no name ones. My girlfriend didn't know if she was gonna "stick with the sport", but one thing was for sure: The cheap "trans CU" bindings fell apart after about 20 runs. Kinda dangerous... I then gave her my old cartels, she loves them.
Well he said cheap so thats y i said the LX i personally have the EX
