Bindings for T Rice c2
So I need some new bindings and literally don't know where to begin other than to rule out burtons because, well, I hate burton.

From what I've seen people seem to like Flux and Union. Which models would be good for all mountain bombing with occasional trips to the park? (Under $300, preferably under $250)

im thinking about that same board, and im thinking rome targas. they are stiffer bidnings, like the trice is a stiffer board. my 2nd choice would be union force's, or force-sl's if i could. i dont know much about flux's, but i hear good things.

Just got the same board and going through the same decision. Im leaning toward the Targa. they are med-stiff so I think they would work best with this board. I was toying with the 390 and targa. 390 high back was pretty soft at the top. Also like forces, so light, i dont like the highback though. Im toying with the idea of forces and rome straps. Best of both worlds.

I use Targa's on my T.rice

Would the Targas really be better than 390 bosses?

Ideally, flex-wise the Stiff high-back Targas are a better match for the stiff T.Rice than the softer high-back Bosses. However, I personally would slap the 390's on there more so for future swappability. Although the Targas have an adjustable flex ankle strap, the stiff high backs will pretty much leave it as an option for only stiffer boards.

Basically put, if you think that you are going to be using these bindings for multiple boards in the future, the mid-flex Bosses are the ideal choice. If you are going to keep these bindings attached to this board or other stiff boards, the Targas are a better match.

Both have the cant system and super comfy straps so you're all set in that department.

Although I always recommend matching the flex of the binding and boots to the board to people, I myself don't do that. It's just a personal preference of mine. I use mid to mid-stiff bindings on any type of board with mid-soft to mid flex boots. It's just what I find to be most comfortable for me.

Thanks Leo, very helpful. I'm not a quiver guy (although I'm definitely keeping my forum 154 around for jibby days), so I'm thinking the Targas are probably a better match. I'll just keep my old bindings on the forum. They work.
