Canadian riders out there, k2 binding deal at sportcheck
Hey all you Canadian riders,
if your looking for K2 bindings, Sportcheck has a 20% deal on the k2 bindings, not sure how long it lasts exactly. At least this is the case here in AB, but should be nation wide. Picked up some K2 formulas for the same price as regular priced Indy's! Just thought I would let you all know. |
if you can find them, last year's formulas are 150. i know pickering has a couple pairs last time i worked
|
ya, not sure last years had the 3 degree cant footbed to reduce joint strain. After some more research (and posting on here), the cant sounds like a good thing for me. Plus, for another $30, I am liking the new highback, and the padding seems better for my boot.
Thanks for the tip though. |
Do you know how i can post a blog theres nothing on the side saying i cant do it.
|
if you want cant, there are also ride RX from last year for around 150
|
;) lol, thanks for the help but I am pretty set on the K2 formulas. Great feature set for $180Can.
|
180?!?! in BC at sport check for 2011 its 151!
you got ripped off. |
I was going to go to Sport Chek and see if theres anything I might like until I read this off the Goodride Review :
"The base plate of most K2 bindings destroys the top sheet of most boards." Anyone own K2 bindings? I would hate for my pretty new board to get destroyed by bindings! |
Quote:
That's interesting maybe just a k2 hater? ive seen plenty of different base plates and most of k2's you wouldn't be able to tell the difference from any other brand. Any base plate that's mounted so tight will damage your board and give you that "ring" look. |
you sure you have the model right? Formula for $150? The Indy is listed at the price you mentioned.
Either way, $180 (roughly) is still a good deal for the binding. I am happy with it. See for yourself... http://www.sportchek.ca/family/index.jsp?categoryId=3758836&cp=3733354.10968095.3 767838.3767853&f=Brand/1015575/&fbc=1&lmdn=Brand&fbn=Brand|K2++ If the price is actually different from the website, maybe your local store has permission to discount further for whatever reason (slow sales). Lucky you if that's the case. :) |
