Just Bought My First Setup!! Need Help with Bindings Please,

So I am 24 years old, been boarding since I was 7, and for the first time I am now purchasing my own setup!! so stoked!

Anyways, so far I have purchased a pair of Nike ZF1 (dont knock em till you try em! I tried on about 30 different boots and they are like butter!)
My board is a 164 NS Raptor

I am 5'10, size 10, 200lbs and am having a hard time with bindings.

Right now I have the 2011 Ride alphas which were recommended to me by the dude at the shop. But Its more of a freestyle binding from the research I have done, and I am strictly a charging, carving, free riding machine. I am thinking I should return them and order either some Ride SPi's or the ride double agents.

Does anyone have any suggestions, or are the ride alphas plenty stiff enough for the raptor?

Thanks!

you probably should get a set of stiffer bindings if you arent going anywhere near the park and if you strictly do freeride. i think the SPI's and double agents are good choices

Thats what I was thinking as well.. Would there be any better choices? The reason I had chosen those two bindings were the aluminum bases, and the toe straps. But I am open to any suggestions!

i think you made a good call with the ones you chose. i had the RPI's and they're perfect for what you are gonna do!
