Default Flow

I found flow bindings for about $40 on the Internet but it's the 2008 model. I'm wondering if it is worth the 40$ bucks. The model is the flow flite 1

The flite 1 is their super basic binding. From 2008 those are not worth it. Save your $$ and get some of this years Fives at the least.

Cheaper bindings of any make are going to be ungood. Because the Flow design is more complex than standard strap-ins, cheap production and material will make it plus ungood.

(somebody just read 1984 again... )

In the book 1984, the government was trying to make their language "Newspeak" more economical. Instead of good and bad, they would say good and ungood. They thought that shrinking a language would limit people's expression and memory, hence making them easier to control.

Used ones? Don't know what US prices are like, but I don't think you can even get new bindings for that price in Canada.

And of the three main pieces of equipment you need (boots, bindings, board), I think the bindings would suffer the least from being a little old.

Actually it's quite smart. If you want to limit the way people express themselves, truncate their vernacular. Limit their linguistic freedoms.
