Hey All,
I bought a pair of Rome SDS bindings at the end of last season (April timeframe) from an online store. Today was the first day I used them and after about 3 hours, the plastic strap on the toe strap freakishly snapped. Now I know I'm SOL as far as the store I bought them from is concerned, but do you guys think I should contact Rome? Can something like this be fixed on the relatively cheap at a ski shop? The principle side of me says contact Rome and tell them about their faulty product because something like this shouldn't happen after 3 hours of use, but the pragmatic side says I want to snowboard again soon and getting this fixed from Rome if they do decide to help will not be a quick turnaround. Anyone encounter this scenario before? Thanks! |

Easy fix. Definitely call Rome because they have a year warranty on their bindings. If you bought it from an online store, sniff through your email and look for the receipt. Rome will send you new toe straps. If you don't know how to replace it, a shop will easily be able to.
