Buying my first board. Down to 2 binding choices

Well I wanna get good boots and bindings right off the bat so our shop only has 3 to choose from

Burton mission
K2 Formula
K2 uprise

I "wanted the Indy , as it matched the board I was looking at better ( raygun or brigade ) but so far I'm SoL on that

I like the formula but don't think red is a good color combo with either of those boards and black boots.

The uprise are nice but not to sure I like the toestraps and how they tighten with the upper strap

What do you guys think?

Just curious if one is better than another or how the bindings hold up on the uprise compared to a formula or Indy. Only big difference I can see is the uprise has that weird ratchet for the toe straps and it's cantered.

Colors and graphics are the most important thing, so just go with whichever matches your board best.

16 Gnu Swallow Tail Carver . 16 NS West . 15 NS Snowtrooper BIA
16 Burton Genesis X . 15 Now Drive
16 Flow Talon . 14 Flow Hylite

IMO, the Formula's are the best binding out of the bindings you're thinking of. If you decide to go another direction, Union, Rome, and Flux make some great bindings around the same price as the Uprise (Union Force or Contact, Rome Targa or 390, Flux TT30 or SF45). Matching colors shouldn't matter, the fit of the binding to the boot you buy should, along with the performance...

Thanks man.. If they had the Indys in XL I would just get them and call it a day.. but I did like the formulas.. Only thing I didnt get , is if the Uprise toe strap was worth the extra $50.. Doubtful, unless Im missing something else

i think you should do more research and buy the "right" bindings so you dont regret it down the road. as mentioned above check out union, flux, and rome, they make very reliable and comfortable bindings.

edit: forget the package deal!
