I'm looking at bindings and have been reading a Ton and have seen a lot about a few bindings.

I'm stuck between:
Burton prophecy
Union Force/ls
Rome targa or 390 boss

I basically ride everything from powder when there is some to park with jumps and rails boxes ect. Everything under the sun for the most part. I'm not sure what ones to get. I ride a jp walker forum. It's fairly stiff. 8 on a scale of 1-10. So which ones? They all seem like good solid bindings.

Ok. Hmm I think the forces might be the way to go. What is the difference between the targa,390 boss, and the 390? Either looks good I read the targa is the same as the 390s but a bit more padding making them comfy. Not change in response. What about the 390 boss?

I'm running Flux SF45's on my Forum Conflict (John Jackson's model). I believe it's the stiffest board in Forum's line this year. The SF45's are stiffer than the Force's I previously had, and I absolutely love this combo. I ride everything from double black powder runs to park sessions minus the rails. I ran 2 pairs of Force's before I realized that the toe straps just weren't for me. I would add the SF45's to your list...

I think im going to go with the rome targa or boss 390's. Which is better for all around riding? And is the only reason you gave up the forces was because of the tow strap?

I really like the idea of the cant system in the rome's which the forces do not have.

Yeah. That was my only negative with the Force's. They are still a great binding, and the go-to binding for a ton of riders. The Targa's are going to be stiffer than the 390's, and will probably be better if you spend a lot of time shredding the steeps...

Oh they're different. The Sl highback is stiffer front back and softer side to side. The base is a little stiffer and ligter too.

That said if you want SL's, get Flux SF45's, if you want Forces, Get TT30's. Flux just make a better binding I'm finding.

Nitranes for an inbetweener. They can be a pain in the ass if they don't match your boot well, or if you wanna use them to demo other boards on a cold day (footpads hate coming off), but other than that I really liked mine. If they match the boots I get next year I'll be picking up another set.

I think im going for the romes. Do they have a lifetime on the base plate like most? Also is 280 a good deal on them? Or is that a bit high? Im looking at getting them locally but that doesn't matter to me. Is there an online store in canada that sells them, was looking at empire but they don't have any rome bindings. It will be about 305 with GST....
