binding size question - Snowboarding Forum

hey all, this is a question about my girls set-up. she wears a size 7 boot and dogfunk has a sick deal on contrabands but only in size
large(8-10). is this an okay match or would the binding be way to big?

I wouldn't do it. Contranband's fit has to be pretty precise. I don't think that you would get that with a 7 in an 8-10 binding.

ok, now im second guessing this....her boots are roxy size 7 and we found that they run a lil bulky...tried to put them in a size 4-7 ride vxn binding and the boot is too wide to fit into the binding...the next size of ride vxn bindings are size 7-11...being that that would be the one shed need to use, makes me think that an 8-10 contraband might not be a bad fit...

good logic, or you still think it wont work?

I guess you would have to physically try it out to see if it would work.

Hey I am in the exact same dilemma. I wear a 7.5 boot and found a great deal on 8-10 contrabands. Just curious if you ended up going for it and what the results were? Thanks so much.
