Help me pick out Bindings

As of now I have Burton Freestyle Bindings. No problems with them really but I am grabbing a new board. Im about to order a Ride DH2.4 in size 155. I dont know too much about Bindings so hopefully you can help. I am around 170lbs 5'8 size 11 boot. Anyway I guess I am mainly Freeride and I hit some moguls and very small jumps. Just starting on small jumps and plan to be there for a while. I heard Ride Contrabands were a great choice but Ive also heard Deltas, Nitranes, Vipers , Rome 390s, Union Force and Flux bindings are great. There are so many to choose from. What do you guys think?

You are going to want stiffer bindings on that board. The Deltas are okay, but I'd do the SPI instead since it is stiffer with an ankle strap that has an adjustable flex.

On Rome's side, go with the Targas rather than the Boss. Same reason as above.

K2 Auto Evers are also a sick choice for the DH2.4. Those are a little pricey though.

Anyone else have any suggestions? If not Ill probably go with your suggestion and grab some SPIs. A friend of mine was recently saying he had those and they were really great.

Some binders that are on the stiffer side that might be a decent match for your boards:Flux SF45, Burton Cartel or Prophecy, K2 Formulas or Rome Targa?

Whats your price range?

I dont really have a price range but I guess 200-300. Id be happier in the 200 area but Id rather pay a little more for better quality. Oh and I dont know too much about bindings so Why is it better to have stiffer bindings? Just better response from the board?

Mainly to match your board, the DH is fairly stiff. Plus, you've said that your mainly into free riding with the occasional jump. You can afford to go a little stiffer with your binding selection.

Binders in your price range? Try online would be my first suggestion.

I will try to contain my dislike for your board choice, though I still must warn you that it is possibly the stiffest twin on the market. Definitely one of the poppiest if you can pop it though.

Anyways, for that I would be using Ride Alphas, Flux SF45's, Flow NXT-FSE's, Flow NXT-ATSE's, or maybe Ride Optimo's.

That is fine if you dont like the board but may I ask why? Just curious so I know what to look for. Its the first more expensive board Ive ordered and it isn't here yet. Ive only talked to people who have had it and have only seen the 2010 DH in person. Also do you think it would be ok for me since I mainly freeride and carve?

From your post, you're on the Freeride end of the all mountain spectrum ... if you're looking at Ride, the Highlife might be an option to consider over the DH. As for bindings, I'm in the market too. Advice provided here already matches what I've heard and researched (I've personally narrowed to Flux SF45, Ride SPi, Rome Targa or the Union Force.)

In my opinion i found the 2011 burton customs a great binding, the cost about $300
