P1 vs mission

I'm tryin to decide between Burton P1.1 2010 or 2011 Missions for my new Never Summer Heritage board. I do mostly groomed and packed powder, and both are around $190.
Thanks for any input

IMO the Missions are one of the worst bindings Burton has had on the market for awhile. Plus I'd say they way too flexible for the Heritage. Between the two definitely the P1.

Those bindings aren't even in the same category. You'd prob be better off with a set of Cartels.

I'm pretty sure te P1 is a park binding, and I'm definitely sure the missions suck balls. I'd spring for the Cartels

I had missions before my cartels. The missons were my first bindings and I thought they were great, but compared to the cartels, the missions are very soft in every way and also unresponsive. In my opinion the missions are a pile of crap. I wouldn't suggest them unless they were $50 and temporary.

Ok. Missions are out. I heard good things about union forces. Forces vs P1.1s?

agree Missions are crap.

wasn't too keen on Cartels either.

don't know about P1.

recommend Ride Contrabands.

Holy crap, I didn't realize. Are you guys talking about a specific year of Missions? I've been riding a pair of 2006 missions for a few years and thought they were good (compared to my first pair of generic bindings they were); didn't realize there was better out there.

I think I had either 06 or 07 missions. the villa poncho version. I have 2010 cartels and I love bombing runs and hitting big kickers. I have no problems with the cartels, but the cartels are only the 2nd pair of bindings I've had. Compared to the missons the cartels are much stiffer and more responsive.
