Dunno the year, I think 08/09, might be 09/10 though.
I have EX's from several years ago and I love 'em. I can't imagine they've gotten worse over the years, so they'll probably do well for you if they match your riding style. |

I have those. I am pretty sure that it is 08/09. I bought them last year for 90 bucks. I use them for anywhere on the mountain and I have been happy so far.pretty durable the only thing I don't like as much is the toe strap. I always try to use as toe cap but sometimes falls off cuz it is not deep enough.
You will like the bindings. Have fun.

I gotta pair, and they're not my favorite. After my first year with them, the fabric began tearing from the plastic on the straps, and I eventually got the straps replaced with new ones (Ride Ex's). Now those ones are tearing as well. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, but I'm not a fan of them.

Yeah, never had experience with the Contrabands; I'll be using these EX's until they finally tear, which may not even happen, so I guess they're decent. The rips are kind of bothersome though.
