Just picked up a new pair for 99 bucks. Been trying to find some reviews on them. Does anyone have experience with these? I know that the last few years Technine bindings hasn't been getting great reviews but these look pretty solid.

Try them out and let us know. Technine 4-5 years ago were the shit...and they offered a lifetime warranty which helped.
Last year I checked out a pair at a shop and set them all up for my boots and stripped the ratchets ladders right there in the store. The ratchets straps on technine bindings always seem to get twisted and strip out...like they just don't conform to the shape of the boot the right way. |

There still is a lifetime warranty on the base plate and metal structure, just not ratchets and straps, those only have a 1 year...fair enough. One thing I did notice while taking these apart is that they now have blue loc-tite on the screws again.

Yeah, it was between these and some new ride LX. I have 2 pairs of Ride bindings and the ladders stripped on me in less than 2 months and they're coming apart. These T9's are aluminum based, leather toe cap and ankle, metal ratchets. I've never ridden technine before..so we'll see.

Well, after a weekend of riding here's my first impressions.
These are nice and comfy! I didn't notice any flexing in the binding, and I'm over 200lbs. The toe caps are nice and I didn't have any issues with the ladder straps bending or breaking. The ratchets are metal and the releases plastic and it seems to be working nice. The only issue I have so far is that they smell horrible. The leather they use reeks. I'll see if they start falling apart now. |

Update:
Well, I have about 4 runs on these now and so far..I couldn't be happier. They haven't fallen apart yet and the ladders haven't stripped. I've been really hard on these too (cause I fall alot) and they've held up nicely. The stank of the leather has died down too. Overall I'm pretty please with them.
