Default what bindings for Never Summer SL + K2 T1 boot?

Hey guys

My bindings are super old and I'm in the market for new ones.

Any suggestions on a good pair of bindings for a Never Summer SL board + K2 T1 boot?

I spend about 90% freeriding / 10% park.

Thanks

Rome Targa, Ride SPI, or Ride Double Agent.

All have canted footbeds and ankle straps with adjustable flex.

How about a K2 binding? The Formula is nice.

Which K2 auto binding? Ever, Drone, or Uprise?

Do you ride carve or park or jib more (%)? How do the Auto bindings work with the T1s?

Thanks man!

I am in a similiar dilemma; I have it narrowed to the Rome Targa or Ride SPi, however my board is going to be a Bataleon Goliath. One of the big pluses for the SPi is you can get them new (2011) for ~170 from evo.com when you price-match to ems.com. I am just thinking I would like the not as stiffness (from what I hear) that the Targa gives you. Does anyone know how much of a forward angle the Ride's have at it's lowest setting?

I'm not running this years Autos. I had a pair of 07/08's that worked great, I now have a pair of 08/09 regular autos. I've been riding for 9-10 years now, mainly groomers. Little to no park.

The T1's were a little big for the the 08's but seem to fit fine in the 09 bindings. Size 12 boots, XL bindings. I didn't like the chinsey looking toe strap on this years autos and the ankle strap was revised to cut weight and doesn't look comfy at all. There is barely any padding.

Think I'm going with the Rome Targas...they got good reviews on thegoodride.com. The K2 bindings got so-so reviews. I was able to sell my old equipment for $$, so no prob spending a little more.

BTW...how long did it take you to break in your K2 T1 ankle flex? I have been riding in my for a week, and they are hella ankle stiff...very tough to ankle flex to initiate skid turns at low speed. Fine for fast carving though!

Probably took a good 8-10 full days of riding before they became less stiff. Still pretty stiff though after 2-1/2 seasons or so but much better then when I first got em.
