Question Binding troubles/problems ?

Hey you guys, I was just wondering what is a big pain about the normal bindings or the flows?
How much time do you spend on average putting on your bindings?
Do you put them on standing up or sitting down?
Do your snow pants get wet if you do sit down?
How do you think that bindings could be made better?

I bet if they made bindings that you could 'step-in' to, that they would dominate the market and forever eliminate strap pain, ice build-up, broken straps etc etc!

there have been "step in" bindings for at least 13 years? I have flows and 90% of the time I strap in standing up.

Sorry, my attempt at humor failed.

I was in the scene when the step-in hype happened and the idea sunk like a stone in water. Hell, I even tried step-ins for half a season, gave them an honest try. Hated every type I tried.

oh yeah, I strap in standing up 99% of the time. If I'm sitting its usually to chill and admire the scenery/have a sip of Jager.

step ins got take off the market because they used to fall off and a few flows fall off also, im wondering if theres anything reasonable that could be the future. like boots that have the binding on them and you attach it into lace on the board a device that tightens the straps for you. just something that will make that 30 sec of strapping in happen in less time and hands free

if theres a nice flat spot ill stand up, but most of the time im riding with friends in which case strap in time really doesnt matter, your just chillin so ill sit down. 10K pants and 20K jacket ive never had a wet ass even in spring riding
