I have a Gnu Riders Choice, I put some Gnu Back Door bindings on it but I broke the top strap snap. They were way uncomfortable anyway. I put my Ride SPi's on this board for the weekend at Baker. I love those bindings, (for my all mt. board) for free-riding, but they are way stiff for everyday riding and doing jumps. I like freestyle riding and natural jumps / features. I hit the park once in a while but only about 20% at most. The biggest thing I noticed about putting the SPi's on my board is: Makes the board stiffer and harder to ollie, Makes buttering almost impossible. I am looking for a medium flex binding that is responsive, has a good high back, won't break, and is comfortable.
BTW I am 5'11" and about 230 lbs. Size 12 boot. I am pretty athletic, but slightly overweight. (Trying to loose a few lbs) Top contenders right now are (but not limited to): Ride Alpha's, Sound like they will fit right and I love the footbed's Ride has. They are a little heavy and stiff though Burton Cartel's, My brother in law swears by these and he is a lot better rider than I am. (I don't own any burton shit and promised myself to never own any burton shit) They look like they would be comfey and sturdy Rome 390 Boss, Everything I have read makes me want these, except the review's saying that they break easily. HALP PLEZZZZ
