Forum Republic bindings good for park??

Hey i was looking to get some new bindings this year does anyone know if the forum republics would be a good choice, i ride park and jib from time to time but i heard these binding are stiff and wouldnt be good for that stuff, does anyone have any good park binding suggestions? thanks in advance for any input :)

one of the absolute BEST park bindings ive riddin this year; forum shakas.... the base has the good vibes split base and flex disk... very comfortable and flex just as much as your board... sick bindings... id say best suited for any press... republic is basically a stiffer version of them... if you'd like to hit kickers/booters yet still wanna slay some rails/boxes lean more towards repbulic... but if you wanna press that box out... shakas.

I really don't feel like the Shakas were softer than the Republics. Felt the opposite to me when I rode them.

Either way, the Shakas gave me what I needed on a Youngblood Doubledog, the Republics weren't too stiff for the Destroyer doubledog, and the Shakas weren't too too stiff for the Scallywag.

relatively close in flex to be honest, felt more flex in baseplate on the shakas...

i should also say;
i rode the setups like this- 2011 Forum Manual-2011 shakas {my current setup}
2011 forum scallywag-2011 republics {friend of mine rides this}

i will say the scallywag is a slightly stiffer board than the manual.

edit: could also be my shakas have been used almost all season... and his republics were on their first day... didnt register that in my mind...

thanks for the replys, I was also lookin at the shakas but cant really decide they are pretty close in cost I just dont want a to flexy binding or too stiff since the republics are just mid I may get them, i should also say that I am not just using them for the park, half the time I just shred down the hills and hit the random side trail jumps and that kinda stuff, I just dont want a super responsive binding that may make me catch edges on rails and stuff if you know what I mean haha

actually most of the jibbers on the forum team (nic suave, cam pierce) use the republics. its a good mid-flex/all around flex binding.

I ride a 2008 Destroyer with 2010 beaten mint Republic bindings. I ride park most of the time and love jumps and they have worked out pretty well for me. Love the toe strap, very comfy padding that seems to absorb landings well. No complaints.
