Hi,
I saw a sale for Burton Stilletos and was able to get a pair for $105. I ordered a Never Summer Infinity board and it should be coming next week. Is it a good set of bindings for the Never Summer Infinity, and/or in general? |

Ugghhh.....I loathe the Stilettos. Toe strap wouldn't stay on, straps were very stiff, and the ladders were sticky. Threw mine away after just a few days on the hill. There are better bindings out there, even in the $100 range.

The only female binding Burton makes that I like is the Lexa. Having said that, try your bindings and see how you like them. Lots of people ride the Stilettos and seem to like them. I think it comes down to experience and then personal preference. If you haven't ridden enough bindings to know the difference, and you got a good deal ride the ones you bought for the remainder of the season and see how you like them. You could always return the ones you bought (if they were local) and buy an older model of a better binding for about the same price. I have an older pair of Lexas that still rock one of my "oldie but goodie" boards I use for spring riding.
I like the new K2 agogo's but the price is out of your range if you want to spend $100 or so. Most bindings will fit just fine on the NS boards. Burton provides an alternate disk to use with every other board besides theirs. |
