Anyone have any problems with the TT3o adjustment hatches popping open?

I had the Super Targas last year and TT30 this year. No problems with them popping open. Those panels actually take me some effort and 2 hands to open. Are yours loose or something?

I think I figured it out. One hatch popped open after a bad fall on ice. At the time I didn't notice it, it took me a few runs to spot it and by then the black hinge had cracked. So Flux sent me a replacement and I installed it upside down. It kept popping open, it seems to be holding strong now that I flipped it over, I'll keep you posted.

I've decided to send back my TT30's and try out another pair. The hatches popped open 5 or 6 times yesturday. In there defense, I had numerous harsh landings and it appears to have just been in response to heelhoop flex. Other than that I really like the bindings, so I figure I'll give a different pair a shot for next year. So now that the season is almost over, have you noticed them popping open?

I had the outside ones on each blinding blow off when i cased a jump, never to be seen again.

I had one fall off. Flux sent a replacement but it took a couple of months.

Yeah, I'm hoping it was just a defective pair but I can see how the design could fail as a result of a jarring impact. While it can be difficult to open the hatches for adjustment, torquing the heelhoop opens a gap that might cause them to pop open under the right conditions. Perhaps I should have opted for a pair of SF45's in exchange. I notice they didn't put the hatches on the SF45's. Does anyone know if Flux is changing the design on the TT30's for 2012?

No they still have the hatches
