I just got home flying from a vacation out West. I just found out one of my Rome Targa bindings now has a deformed heel hoop...totally bent out of shape...looks flat instead of round. Needless to say the heel cup doesn't fit properly into the heel hoop now.
My bindings were attached to my snowboard, and the board was in a padded ski bag. The heel hoops on the Targas are solid metal. How the heck does someone damage metal bindings like this? Did they drop it from some insane height? Do airlines reimburse for this type of damage? Thanks |
