Bindings for 2011 NS Evo

Demo'd the Evo, Heritage, SL, and Custom Flying V at Telluride over the past few weeks. They didn't have a Heritage or I would have bought one.

Picked up the Evo 158. Can anyone help me with binding advice? It helps if you speak my language. For three reasons I'm leaning towards 390 Bosses: 1, I love the blue/white (I bought the white version), 2, I want canted beds just to have the option, 3, I have Targas on my Arbor Element and LOVE them.

I'm concerned about the stiffness level though. I need to be able to enjoy riding these around the mountain, not just in the park. I had Missions on my SL and HATED them. Can't emphasize that enough. Tried out Cartels on the Heritage and was very happy with those. Anybody know where the Bosses fall on that spectrum? I'd rather they were a little too stiff for park than a little too noodly for all mountain. The Bosses will be pricy/impossible to find so I just want to know if they're worth it.

Thanks!

Bueller? Bueller?

Ok, looking around and I have some other options. Any opinions on Ride RX (09/10) or Ride Revolt (10/11)? Burtons are great but they don't cant footbeds except for the EST from what I've found.

Boss 390's

Hey would you be able to explain the differences in the boards you tested? Just curious on why you picked the evo if you liked the heritage so much. On paper it seems like the evo is much softer than the heritage with the sl sitting somewhere in between them.

To answer your question I'd go with the 390 bosses. Tried k2 cinches, cartels and 390's and much prefer the 390's on my new sl. I was looking for a softer all mountain binding as well as don't spend much time in the park. The canted footbeds are a good bonus as well but i'm still testing which angle i like more. Set them to 3.5 yesterday at northstar and they felt pretty good (15 -15 stance).

Evo was softer than the SL, which was softer than the Heritage. I loved the Heritage, but that board is sold out and my goal was to use my demo credits to defray the cost of a board if I found one I liked. I like the SL too but they only had in a 161cm. I have an Arbor Element cambered board so the Evo represented a nice departure from that in building my quiver. I still need to find a board that is <=156cm so I can check it as normal luggage, but whatever.

I rode the Evo and I liked it because it was stiff enough for me to charge, plus it's twin and I'll be able to learn switch and play in the park on it. Just looking for a good binding. I'll probably go with the 390 bosses, thanks for your advice!
