Replacement washer: size difference

While dismantling my bindings two days ago, I happened to lose one of eight washers. I've looked around everywhere and had no luck. I have other washers, but they are either slightly too big or too small.

I was wondering if using a slightly smaller washer will be okay for the board now and in the long run.

I'm going to assume you are talking about a washer with a smaller O.D. only. I have a tough time believing it will make a damn bit of difference.

What does O.D. mean? Google yielded surprisingly vague results. I didn't think it would make much a difference either, but I wanted to make sure - just in case.

Outer Diameter. It seems fairly safe for me to assume that the replacement washer you have in mind has the same inner diameter as the one you lost and will fit correctly around the screw. But hey, you never know.
