Hey guys I'm just curious if anyone has tried these bindings before and what they thought of them? Also, if anyone could recommend any good bindings for a rider that is all over the mountain but mainly park, that'd be great.
Thanks guys. |

I just picked up a pair at a great price, put them on my Arbor Westmark. That's my setup for next season. Can't tell you much about them, other than that they are apparently best suited for continuous rocker. They'd probably match up well with that Youngblood Chilidog you've been considering.

I've heard great things about them. Comfortable ankle strap, responsive toe cap, good amount of stiffness and response in the baseplate. But there are rumors that they are heavy so that's kept me away. Not sure how true that is.

They are definitely heavier than my TT30's and MalaVita's. How much heavier I'm not too sure, not too sure if it's going to matter either. I put them on a Westmark, which I believe is on the lighter side, so I expect it to balance out. I think I read over on the Angry Snowboarder that the ankle straps and possibly even the toe straps are Burton throwbacks. The ankle straps and rachets are very similar to those on my 2010 MalaVita's, that's part of the reason why I'm pumped on them. I weigh 185 without my gear on, that combined with the continous rocker on the Westmark should allow me to engage the hinged discs, at least that's what I was thinking when I bought them.

Buckles are basically Burton throwbacks. That double asym ankle strap it new though. Toe strap is more like a Technine reissue, but it worked great for me.

Solid mid flex bindings. As others have already stated, a bit on the heavy side. I demoed the 2012 models.
The ankle straps were interesting in that they can be flipped to change the flex. You can set it up so it's stiffer on the inside or stiffer on the outside. I had some trouble adjusting the toe caps to fit correctly though. After a quick tweak, they fit just fine on '11 Hails. |
