Bindings for the girlfriend

Morning all.

I'm trying to pick out some bindings for my girlfriend since she doesn't really know what she wants apart from step-ins, which I guess limits the choices to Flow. I know Gnu does step-ins as well but I haven't really read much about folks who've ridden them, nor seen them on sale.

She pretty much enjoys staying on the groomers and occasional powder stashes, so I don't require anything highly technical but if it's sturdy enough to last a few seasons that's great.

I'm looking at getting her Flow NXT AT or Flow Essence. Maybe I can grab an end of season steal.

PS Is there any difference between mens and womens bindings?

my wife was looking at step ins but decided on the K2 agogo Agogo | K2 Snowboarding
single ratchet tightens both straps. still not as quick as step ins but i'd bet they hold the toe better.

the toestrap is already tightened, and the other ratchet only tightens the top strap.

When the heelstrap is loose, so is the toe strap. It's linked to the ratchet by a cable
Initially you set how tight the toe strap is relative to how tight the heel strap is.
when you crank the ratchet, they both get tighter

my mistake. I looked at them at the shop and I was told it is preset and you only adjust your heel strap.
