How are the toe straps on these bindings? Right now I ride with Burton Cartels, and I love how it's wide enough to go out in front of the toe. I picked up a 2011 forum destroyer and am looking for some nice park bindings. I have Vans Encore boots, so they are a little wider than normal.

They're made so that they can go either way (on top or on toe cap, toe cap is better though). Nice design because they really flex to the shape of your boot once ratcheted tight. I've been pretty happy with mine.

I haven't had that problem with mine, but I have heard of the 09/10 having that problem. Then the 10/11's like hella tightened the strap to the point of having a hard time releasing it to counter the problem or something.

i personally love the 10/11 toe straps on the 390's and targas. i believe they have the same strap. i love my union forces more but the toe straps on the rome's are def superior in my opinion. like ^ said, when tightened up the strap really just conforms to the shape of ur boot and stays in place. the union forces' toe strap does not stay in place as well as the rome's. i just read too that the 11/12 rome targas are gonna somehow have an IMPROVEd toe strap...how they are gonna improve on it is beyond me but thats whats coming up. i assume the same upgrades will be made on the new 390's as well.
best of luck |
