Hey there guys I'm planing on getting a 2011 lib tech black magic but I don't know what bindings i should get for it. I've got some Ride Esx but the colors wouldn't work well with it and i don't know if they will be good for it. any ideas of what i should get or am i fine with what i got?
Thanks in advance

I still say there is no reason to get that board for just under $500 when you can get something from 2012 for still cheaper that probably rides as well or better and is lighter. Oh and has full wrapped edges so it doesn't delam the first time you hit something...
Bindings: 2012 Raiden Phantoms, 2012 Salomon Chiefs, Flow NXT's, Flux SF45's.

You always mention the above bindings but never Rome 390 Bosses which seem to get a lot of love. Any reason you dont find them to be as great as a lot of others? Just curious. |

I'm hoping its just "sample effect", but 2012's are showing some durability issues...
They are great riding bindings though. But if you're asking for recommendations, the bindings I'll most likely be on are the ones mentioned. I already have 2012 M9se's on the way and will more than likely be ordering me some Zero's for my park deck.

its not the main reason your right, actually i want new ones cause i feel like they aren't as responsive as i would like them to be and they are just getting older. after all they are 06, board too that's why i'm in the market for a new all mountain board as well. i mainly wanted to know performance wise would they work with the board i mentioned above. the look would have just been a bonus. don't worry i wouldn't buy anything just cause it looked better then the other bindings. performance>looks.

Always nice to upgrade.
You might like to look at something from Rome (390 or Targa), or the Burton Prophecy or Cartel. All nice bindings either way.

I didnt suggest them as someone else had. No point in having them suggested twice, I hear that flux makes a pretty sweet binding though. You might like to check out the K2 range as well, they have some fairly nice stuff.
Size - Just check out the respective site for what ever binding you are going for to find your size. I know with Burton, you'll be a M. If you can, get into your local shop with your boot in hand, and check the sizing of your boot in the binding prior to purchase. It can be a little difficult in deciding, I know, especially if your on the cusp of a size. I have a size 8 boot (which is the upper most size for Burton size S, and the minor size for size M). Fitting into the S, my boots are damned snug in the binding, and to get the heel in, i kinda have to start putting on my binding by touching the ball of my foot on the toe ramp, then sliding the heel back and down - like im heel stomping into it. I should really take my own advice and go size up for some M's.
