2009/2010 K2 Flux Feedback Bindings Issue - Please help!

Please excuse the k2 in the thread title.

Hey everyone. Last summer I bought a pair of new 2009/2010 Flux Feedbacks (White). Unfortunately I live about 2 hours from any slopes and 3+ from anything half decent. Because of this I was only able to get about 14 or so days on the new bindings. On the 13th day I noticed that one of the bolt covers/pads was missing. To avoid retyping everything, I'll post the email that I sent to flux's contact email address. Here it is:

Hi, my name is ********** and I purchased 2009 Flux Feedback bindings brand new from a website last summer. I rode these bindings for about 14 days this past winter an absoutely loved them. Unfortunately though, the little black "T" shaped plastic pieces on the bottoms of the white circular bolt covers/pads began to bend and deform. Because of this, the covers/pads wouldn't stay tight over the bolts and one of them fell off somewhere as I was transporting my board to the lifts. I am not tough on my board and I take care of all of my gear. I didn't do anything that should cause the binding bolt covers to be damaged so quickly, and I am quite upset that these bindings had issues so soon.

Is there any way that I could be sent replacement pads/bolt covers for my bindings? If there is any trouble understanding what I am trying to describe, there are three pictures attached. Two of them show the black "T" looking piece that holds the cover in place on top of the bolts, and the other is a picture of my bindings with the one pad missing. Can I be sent two replacement pads please?

This is a picture of the bindings from your website : 09/10 Flux Snowboard Bindings Official Website 09/10 Binding Collection Feedback The Best Snowboard Bindings in the world!

Thanks for your time and I hope to hear from you soon.

Thanks,

-C***

I attached my contact information and have still heard nothing. There is no way that the bindings should be having issues already, and it is a pain only having one cover. I'll add the pictures that I attached to the email.

Does anyone have any idea what I should do to actually get a hold of somebody that can solve my problem? Or does anyone know where I can get a replacement pad/cover for my bindings?

Thanks for taking to time to read this, I appreciate any help.

Looks like you twisted the disk covers somehow, usually done by turning them the wrong way or turning them too far to begin with. Would send them another email or try and call them. Might even try the shop where you got them from.

Can call them at 310-533-4834

The season is almost upon us!!!!

oh wow I didn't realize that I put k2 in the title. guess I was thinking about my board at the time lol. thanks for the number, I wasn't able to find it on their site. And I'm not sure which shop I bought them from but I'm sure I could figure it out if I did some digging. It was some random online retailer that had them for a good discount.

I'm not sure how they bent because even when I first put them in they never seemed to tighten properly or snap into place or anything like that

It's a cosmetic cover that doesn't do shit to effect you pull the other one off sack up and stop complaining.

Angry Snowboarder Because someone has to call it how they see it!
