I'm probably going to buy a NS Proto and I'm looking for a good binding combination. I want a binding that would be good for all mountain freestyle riding. I've heard good things about Rome 390 Bosses and Burton Cartels/Malavitas, but I'm not too familiar with other options. I'm considering those and any other recommendations as I'm not too familiar with bindings.

Malavitas are quite a bit stiffer than Cartels. Cartels more comparable to 390s (390s better IMO). Malavitas are a stiff freeride binding, comparable to the Rome Arsenal.
They're all good bindings. 390s for more park, Targas for more all-mountain, Arsenal/Malvita for aggressive freeriding. Flux & Ride both have good reps too, for their higher end stuff. Last edited by chupacabraman; 08-28-2011 at 08:22 PM. |

Oh really? I thought the Malavitas were a little softer then the Cartels and were more for park.
So the Boss 390's are comparable to Cartels? I've only ever ridden Cartels out of these bindings and I liked them so I'm looking for something comparable. Mine are EST though so can't use them. |
