Binding Comparisons
Alright I ride in the park all the time and hit rails and jumps in the park. Just got a new 134 burton hero from 2011 and need binding help. What's the best for me for my needs: Union Contacts, Union Flites, Union Cadet DLX, or Rome 390. Please HElp me out here

2011-2012 FLUX BINDINGS / LINE UP [RK30] Unless you dont like flux, then the Rome 390's are ok... |
i used my friends 390s when my bindings blew out last season and loved them i dont know much about union bindings so i can't help you there
|
Are the Flux rk30's like the rome 390's? Do the rk30's have much shock absorbtion for jumps?

I was able to feel the difference and now i am a huge fan of flux bindings. They have a youtube video if you search for it that explains those bindings pretty well. |
Thanks. So Flux rk30's are the best all around park binding??? oh yeah also are they durable like Unions are?
|
Union's have always been awesome at Durability, So far the Flux's my friend has are holding out very well.
I dont see any issues with the ratchets or the action on them period. Everything is still working smoothly.. I would say yes: The RK30's are flux's best park binding. If you watch the video you'll see how awesome the highback bends. The vid is right on their website. |
so flux rk30's on Burton hero is the best way to go?

My buddy has a new pair of Flux bindings and they look like fisher price made them.
Very minimal padding was my biggest concern. Rome 390 are a phenomenal park binding... I don't currently know of any binding more comfy for park riders. I'm really liking what k2 is doing with the harshmellow, and just picked up a pair myself. Call me old or whatever, but I like a nice padded binding that feels like a cadillac when I ride. |
