Flux RK30 or Flux TT30. Union Forces are always a solid choice too.

(1) Adjustable canting.
(2) The best dampening on the market and overall great build.
(3) Wings on the outside, pricy.
(4) Urethane Highback, comfy.
(5) Solid do everything park, comfy.
(6) Same binding as 2006 except for an unproven toe strap.

Another I would add would be Raiden Zeros, for a softer flex than Phantoms, and Flow M9se's for comfy goodness with a urethane back.

Thanks for the info.

The 390s seem like they'd probably be the best bet. Definitely like aspects of each of the others though. I like the styling of the Phantoms the best (for what that's worth). If the phantoms came in White, I'd probably be reaching for my card.. I probably shouldn't admit that, right?

Ok, what about 2012 Union Flights, don't see these mentioned anywhere. Confort? Too noodley for the Evo?

Looks like they might be a little too responsive though? Colour isn't my primary consideration

Too responsive is all up to you. Would it be like putting C60's on a Signal Park Rocker? Not at all. I don't think the Blackhawks are so much more responsive than the Evo needs that you'll have more binding than board, it just depends on what feel you're aiming for. I for one am starting to prefer a stiffer binding than most per board style. So, normal park bindings on jib boards, all mtnfreestyle on park boards... yeah.

Ultimately I suspect I'll prefer something more towards the responsive end of the spectrum too. Based solely on my preference in other sports and equipment. But you have to bear in mind I'm still in the early stages of snowboarding and don't want to overreach with my bindings so far I've only ridden some of the base model Rides (ex/lx I think) Even with the first pair, in hindsight being too big, they seemed 'ok' at the time and I gather these are not the most responsive bindings out there. Without any way to test, I guess my options are to take a forum-informed chance on a decent more expense binding as a keeper, or to buy something super cheap for now and then try/buy when get to the snow. I'm reasonably sure I want canting, good comfort, a little responsive, smooth operation, good looks, colour that complements the evo/my outfit. That will allow me to progress in the park and cruise the pistes. I like 'quality' and don't mind paying for it but my 'danger' years are well behind me, so I'm unlikely to need anything too extreme
