i checked out the salomom chief and they were nice,i guess i did not know they make those type of bindings but i'll work it out somehow of what i have and when money is available i'll get a flow nxt-at then. thanks for everyone's replies,truly appreciate and cannot wait for season to start.

yea they have that toe strap on all their bindings believe so you can get whatever fits for riding style more, i just said chief cause thats what i used.

EDIT: Didn't see the medical issues the OP is facing. Given back and knee problems, as the OP said, it'd make sense to exchange some money (for good bindings) for pain on the slopes.

just purchase 2011 flow 5 on sale for $130,(fortunately got a safety award for the month where i work).i was hoping to get a nxt-at but... is the flow 5 a good binding? this would be my second season boarding and i normally ride all mountain except park. i figure it may not be a bad start to ride with flow bindings since i'm an intermediate rider.
