Default Are Burton CO2s +/- stiff than Rome Targas?

Hello

I have a pair of CO2s, but am looking for an all mountain freestyle binding to put on my Proto. Can someone who has tried both let me know where the Targas stand in relation to the CO2s, and b7 how large of a margin?

I'm debating on Targas vs 390 Bosses and the CO2s are on my Never Summer SL. I'm looking for something more playful than those for the Proto.

thanks

I would go with 390 Bosses or TT30 instead of CO2's. I have Targas for all mountain on a board like T.Rice but Proto is more playful than that and deserves a more playful binding.

Thanks. Seems you're saying that the Targas are basically the same type of binding as the CO2? Even with the ankle insert taken out?

The reason I ask is I have seen the Targas compared to Cartels, which are much softer than my CO2s.

I've owned both and they're very similar in tue flex department. The 390 Boss is a great choice for the Proto.

Thanks for letting me know, I suspected that, but then those Cartel comments threw me off. Wish the Boss had that Targa cap though, but I'd rather have better flex.

Have you tried Fluxes as well?

I haven't ridden the Flux bindings, but I've only heard good things about them.

I don't think the Cartels are that much softer than the CO2 (I've owned them too). The Targa highback is similar in flex to the CO2, but the ankle strap stiffness can be changed with the inserts to as stiff as the CO2 or as soft as the Cartel.

One thing you can do is buy the 390 Boss and see if you can get an extra set of Targa toe straps from Rome.
