2012 gnu bindings
I'm currently riding 2010 flow quattros on a 2010 ride crush and am looking for new bindings. I love the step in bindings but prefer the double straps to the flow's single strap design. I have been looking at the 2012 gnu bindings, specifically the mutants and agros. Snowboarder mag gave the mutants a golden seal, or whatever they call it. Aside from that i have not been able to find any reviews or helpful info on either set. Any and all advice is greatly appreciated, thanks.

The Mutant and Aggro are great bindings as far as rear-entry tech is concerned. I spent some time on the the Mutant and was very happy with it over any rear-entry I had tried in the past. The best parts to me are the independently adjustable straps and the pressure relief button on the heel strap (relieves pressure on the chair ride up.)

Those are the two main reasons why I started looking at GNU. I've pretty much already made up mind that I'm getting a pair GNU's, I just have to decide between the two. As far as I can tell, the only real difference is that the Agro is made of bio-renewable polymers and the Mutants are not. That's cool and all, but I don't think that will affect the funcionality of the binding in anyway. Did the Mutant have metal rachets or plastic? I know the Agro has metal, which for some reason, I tend to like more.

The Mutants have metal ratchets. They felt pretty similar when I rode them so I went Mutant myself. If you don't care about the "green" aspect of the aggro then definately go Mutant.

That's good to know. Thank you.
