BA rode the shit out of the Elements. He actually really liked them. Wings on the inside. And that is one of the best boards for under $350. Technine is really focusing on that price range so their stuff in it is well thought out. It will make a great board to thrash.

I was going to get the Icon Marley and Elements Scrub Hook Rasta. I think that setup would work pretty well.

i want this board and want some good bindings. but concerned because i cant find stores that sell them to get sizing. i usually wear a 9-10 boot and dont know what to get. whats a good size binding

It depends on what brand and even which binding you are going to get. Sizing isn't universal. Each brand has their own sizing schedule.

Rome has two size schemes, for example.

thats helpful advice. do you think that a large binding would work. online most companies have s/m as 6-8 to 6-9. but im looking to spend around 150$ for a set

Get your boots first because they are the most important aspect of your gear. They need to fit as perfect as possible. Then pick a binding based on the style of riding you do and what features you like. Once you know that, you'll know what size you need. I don't know what else to say.
