Flux SF45 or Union Force
Im probably going to end up getting a Never Summer SL 158cm.
Now for bindings. I was thinking between Flux SF45 and Union Force... |

SF45's over Forces for SL.
|
Yeah, SF45s over the forces especially for the the SL. I have a set of forces and I don't like them very much—I think it's mainly the ankle strap and base. Over the years the forces seem like they're become fluxes though...

Does anyone have any other advice or opinion on bindings similar to the Flux SF45? Just a good binding that you can take anywhere. From the park to back country.

I think you should also check out the new ride capo.

Sorry for not responding in a bit. I went with the Heri.tage. With my boot size, the SL had too much heel drag on it
|
I ride the Force. I also have flux 45's and I prefer the response of the Force. The flux are comfortable but the ankle strap is too squishy. The flux toe cap is better, but that's the only advantage to them that I've found. But it's really a matter of preference.

Can't be of much help since I haven't been on the hill yet, but I picked up a pair of ride capos for my sl (2011). I picked it over the atlas since the ankle strap was more comfortable for my boot, but its quite a bit heavier...looks sexy as hell though, and that's what counts, right? :)
I guess my advice is try them on before you buy. I didn't have access to flux bindings and I have a huge aversion to checkered flag designs. |
check out the huge flux sale thread. a 40% discount on the 45's might sway you their way.
techno legit :D |
